We're not talking about "Gone With the Wind" or "Nosferatu" — but ephemeral films. These range from commercially made non-fiction productions such as industrials and travelogues, to home movies and U.S. government made educational, military and training films. Our films are made available to the public for free viewing on Youtube and other websites, and we provide them to content creators as stock footage for their projects. Our company came about because, right around the year 2000, we noticed that many libraries and other institutions were throwing away their films as "obsolete" and "irrelevant". With each reel of film destroyed, so vanished a potential window into the past. Between then and now, we know our nation has lost a great deal of history on celluloid — but we've managed to save some of it. What initially started as a hobby has now grown into something more, and today we're proud to serve as a resource not only for filmmakers and artists, but for students, artists, and researchers all over the world. Today we continue to acquire, preserve and make available to the public endangered non-fiction films.
