It delivers a look at Trans World's operations; first formed in July of 1930 as part of some of the first major commercial airlines. The "Superjet to Europe" is a Boeing 707 TW, the first intercontinental jet airliner to connect all seven continents. The jet was powered by Pratt and Whitney JT3C turbojets. The 707 cockpit (0:22) as it heads flies over the Atlantic. The jet arrives at the Trans World Airline terminal at LAX in Los Angeles (:40). Midcontinent and international airport appears in Kansas City, Kansas (1:09). Servicing of jets is broken down in detail beginning at the hangar (1:59). Maintenance men break an engine down (2:20).
