He started working in the space program around 1963 for General Electric as an engineer on Apollo. He was then hired by NASA and continued working on Apollo. He eventually became an Apollo Launch Director. He later continued with NASA moving to the Space Shuttle program and became a Shuttle Launch Director. After retiring from NASA, in addition to his hobbies, Bob has continued space program consulting. Bob currently serves on the board of directors for the U.S. Space Walk of Fame Foundation (parent of our American Space Museum). An ORIGINAL production of The American Space Museum, Titusville, FL.
