It shows the process of Christian missionaries propagandizing Christianity in the Belgian-occupied Congo, influencing local tribes to convert to Christianity to grow the Protestant church in Africa. The film is produced by William E. Brusseau in cooperation with Westminster Films in Pasadena, California. It is photographed and narrated by Harvey R. Widman and edited and directed by Frederick A. Roberts. The Belgian Congo was a Belgian colony in Central Africa from 1908 until independence in 1960. The former colony adopted its present name, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in 1964.
