<description>Support Our Channel : https://www.patreon.com/PeriscopeFilm Created in 1978 by United Airlines, this travelogue (shot in widescreen!) presents a glimpse of Hawaii and especially Honolulu with its beaches, surfers, cultural diversity, and unique local customs including hula dancing, luaus, and more. Featuring music by Don Ho and others. The filmmaking team included famed picture editor Walter Murch and Hal Barwood, who wrote Steven Speilberg's first film "Sugarland Express." It was produced by Cal Bernstein an award-winning photojournalist who chronicled the civil rights movement among other stories in the 50's and 60's, and later produced and directed television commercials at his company, Dove Films. The film captures the experience of being enchanted by Hawaii, with a longing for a dog to enjoy the ocean as well. It compares Hawaii to Texas, noting the absence of volcanoes in Texas, and mentions the concept of Polynesian paralysis and the presence of a huge library. The narrator mentions coming to Hawaii for the boys and being on honeymoon. The narrative transitions into a musical performance, with applause and lively music continuing throughout. The audience is encouraged to sing along, creating an engaging and emotional atmosphere. The music and singing carry on with enthusiasm and emotional intensity, ending with the phrase "la e." The entire experience is vibrant and filled with the joy of music and the unique charm of Hawaii. 00:00 - Enchantment and enjoyment in Hawaii, wishing the dog was there. 0:25 - Comparison of Hawaii to Texas; no volcanoes in Texas. 0:33 - Polynesian paralysis and the presence of a huge library in Hawaii. 0:40 - Came to Hawaii for the boys and on honeymoon. 0:44 - Music and applause begin. 1:00 - Sounds of music continue. 2:28 - Music continues with "a e". 2:48 - More applause. 3:01 - Music continues with a lively atmosphere. 3:27 - Encouraging the audience to sing along. 4:05 - Music and singing continue. 6:04 - Music and singing continue. 6:43 - Music continues with emotional intensity. 7:20 - More music and singing. 7:49 - Continued music with a strong melody. 8:12 - Music and singing continue with enthusiasm. 8:39 - Continued musical performance. 9:02 - Applause and music. 9:20 - Applause continues. 9:36 - Continued applause and musical performance. 10:58 - Music and singing with "w e". 11:11 - Continued musical performance. 11:38 - Music continues with a strong tune. 12:18 - More music and singing. 12:28 - Continued musical performance. 12:58 - Ending with "la e".
