Includes the sinking of the RMS Lusitania and Wilson's work to found the League of Nations. The film then continues through the year 1939, as Adolf Hitler and the Fascist allies unseat the fragile democracies of Europe, and bring the world to the brink of war once again. The League of Nations and the work of the USA in between the wars end up being ineffective. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
