The film features footage from all seasons of the year and offers little by way of contextual clues, except the can was marked "At Buckley". Nonetheless, the film provides insight into the lives of an American couple as they enjoy their quaint lives with family and friends and adventuring across the United States, from camping in cabins and skeet shooting to watching an Air Show and Duck Hunting. Film opens to small wood cabin in forested area, men exits cabin wearing hat and khakis, woman wearing apron follows suit, pair are joined by perhaps their adult son who sits and lights a cigarette (0:07). Man in gray matching pant suit toddles out of outhouse perched on top of small hill before joining rest of group still in front of the cabin, group poses together for camera and say goodbyes (0:50). Rugged rocky terrain with small stream flowing through in valley, light snow dusts the landscape and contrasts dark greens and browns of forest scene (2:10). Man stands on rock above stream, wife follows and picks a small flower growing in the snow (2:31). Sign read’s “Thompson's Resort,” light snowfall, men loiter on porch of cabin with cafeteria (3:15). (There is a modern-day Thompson's Resort in Saskatchewan, not sure if it's the same place.) Change of season: Man carries pale around side of small house on residential street, bright green grass lawn, feed chickens in coop in backyard (3:50). Close-up sign for safety rules regarding skeet shooting (recreational and competitive activity where participants use shotguns to attempt to break clay targets) (4:37). Group of men in combination of outdoor, green hunting outfits and military uniforms stand in grass field with rifles and practice shooting at different targets (4:38). Air Show: Unidentified small plane lands on tarmac (6:33). Boeing-Stearman Model 75 (7:04). Douglas DC-3, parachuter deploys white parachute and falls back towards ground (7:31). Perhaps group of Grumman F6F Hellcats flying in triangle formation lift off from tarmac (8:00). Spectators come onto tarmac and investigate jet (looks like an F-80 Sabrejet) for themselves (8:20). More of Grumman F6F Hellcats (8:39). Deer run across grassy terrain (10:25). Swarm of birds flies over field with barren fall/ winter trees (10:43). Husband and wife stand proudly beside pile of hunted duck/ geese in front of their home (11:22). Fall, group of women climb down stairs of home, get into what appears to be 1938 Ford V8 Deluxe (12:25). Film ends (13:46).
