Opening: The Eyes and Their Care (An Introduction) (:06-:21). People watch a baseball game. A baby in a crib. The baby holds a ball and plays with it. A mother holds another ball near the baby. Semi-professional baseball game. A pitcher throws a ball. A blind man holds onto his service dog / seeing eye dog as he crosses the street (:22-1:56). Close on a man's eyebrows and his eyes as he watches the baseball game. Eyes dart in different directions. Animated diagram of the eyeball. How light enters the eye is shown and explained in detail. Arteries and veins in the eye. Retina is explained and shown in a diagram how it works (1:57-4:13). Sharp vision and color vision. Dim vision. A man turns off lights and is in a darkened room. Public pools can cause an irritation. A soiled towel can also cause harm. A stye in an eye. An eye doctor removes a particle from a man's eye. A steel particle is removed. The eye is then washed with a solution (7:44-9:28). Extreme light exposure from the sun can lead to blindness. A man reads a book. A worker in a factory has a shield to protect his eyes.
