The film starts with images of the assembly line before showing the launch assembly (:46) and rocket motor. Footage is shown of the missile being tested against drone aircraft. At 1:13 the passive homing guidance system is shown. At 1:30, Stinger is shown in use in the field, launched by a single gunner who deploys from a jeep. At 2:10 the missile homes in on a target and destroys it. The versatile, highly mobile missile system is now available for use. The FIM-92 Stinger is a man-portable air-defense system (MANPADS) that operates as an infrared homing surface-to-air missile (SAM). It can be adapted to fire from a wide variety of ground vehicles and helicopters (Air to Air Stinger). Developed in the United States, it entered service in 1981 and is used by the militaries of the United States and 29 other countries.
