The Compact Synthetic Aperture Radar Instrument was developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California. The C-20A is operated by NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center and based in Hangar 703 in Palmdale, CA.
