This black & white educational film is about a U.S. sailor's visit to the island of Hawaii. Opening titles: Crossroads Of The Pacific A Hawaiian Cruise, Narrated by Harry Von Zell (:06-:15). United States Navy warships at sea including cruisers and battleships. Torpedoes are launched into the water and the guns of the ships continue to fire. The ships head for Hawaii. Captain's inspection is held as he inspects the mens' uniforms. Hats off to see hair length. Ship heads for Honolulu, HI (1:40-3:21). Sailors salute and leave the ship to visit paradise. A traditional welcome for the sailors as the local women present them with a lei. One sailor is presented with numerous leis and then kissed by the woman. Waikiki Beach is the destination.
