The film begins with a recap of the various summits between Allied leaders during WWII, first starting with the 1943 Cairo conference between Churchill, Madame and General Chiang Kai-Shek and President Franklin Roosevelt. At 1:40, the Tehran Conference is shown with Joseph Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt. It includes the presentation of the bejeweled Stalingrad blade aka Sword of Stalingrad by Winston Churchill. At 4:40, the film shows the U.S. Marine Corps fighting at Tarawa, from November 20–23, 1943. The invasion of Tarawa Atoll in the Gilbert Islands was part of Operation Galvanic, the U.S. invasion of the Gilberts. The Cairo Conference occurring November 22–26, 1943, held in Cairo, Egypt, outlined the Allied position against the Empire of Japan during World War II and made decisions about postwar Asia. The Tehran Conference was a strategy meeting of Joseph Stalin, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and Winston Churchill from 28 November to 1 December 1943, after the Anglo-Soviet invasion of Iran. It was held in the Soviet Union's embassy in Tehran, Iran. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
