The first segment "Lindbergh's Triumphant Arrival in Paris", released by William J. Ganz Co., (:15) starts with a view of Le Bourget Airport outside Paris, France. At :44, searchlights illuminate the sky as Paris awaits Lindbergh's arrival. At 1:13, pandemonium as crowds break through security and rush to greet the Spirit of St. Louis. At 1:22, Charles Lindbergh poses with the plane. At 1:45, on the following morning, Lindy is shown at the U.S. Embassy in Paris and at 1:59 at the Aero Club. At 2:56, French President Doumergue decorates Lindy with the Legion of Honor. At 3:29, Lucky Lindy is seen again with the Spirit of St. Louis. At 3:47 a Kinograms newsreel begins, entitled "Lindbergh's Triumph". The film includes added shots of Le Bourget, the U.S. Embassy, the Legion of Honor ceremony, etc. At 4:16, it shows Lindbergh visiting the mother of French aviator Nungesser, who was killed attempting to win the Orteig Prize. At 4:25, Lindbergh is shown on one of his "goodwill tours", visiting Belgium and England. At 4:32, Lindy flies to Brussels. At 4:42 he arrives at Evere Field. At 4:57 Lindy visits Belgium's tomb of the unknown soldier. At 5:07, Lindy visits the Royal Palace. At 5:15, Lindy lands at Croydon where an enormous crowd greets him. At 5:48, Lindy is shown at the U.S. Embassy in London. At 6:08, Lindbergh is seen arriving back in the United States on board the cruiser USS Memphis. At 6:32 the ship arrives at the Navy Yard in Washington D.C. At 6:56 Lindbergh is reunited with his mother. At 7:16, Lindy travels down Pennsylvania Avenue. At 7:33 he is decorated by U.S. President Calvin Coolidge with the Distinguished Flying Cross. At 7:59, Lindbergh's goodwill flight to Mexico is shown. This was part of a goodwill tour of several Latin America nations made following his epic flight across the Atlantic. At 8:02, the Spirit of St. Louis is prepped at Bolling Field. At 8:23 gas is loaded and at 8:26 Lindy examines maps of his route. At 9:24 Lindy takes off on his journey. At 9:35, President Calles of Mexico awaits Lindy's arrival, 10:15. At 11:00 Lindy arrives at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City. There he met the U.S. ambassador's daughter, Anne Morrow; the two were married in 1929. The Lindberghs made a number of widely reported flights together, including a memorable one to the Far East on the great circle route above the Arctic.
