It begins with the President's arrival at Nur Airbase on December 9, 1959 for a state visit with King Muhammad of Morocco, marking the final stop of his 11-nation goodwill tour. During the trip, President Eisenhower reviews Moroccan soldiers and American airmen, with a large crowd welcoming him in Casablanca. After handling state business, he departs, confident in strengthened relations. Meanwhile, ground crews prepare F-104 Starfighters for deployment to Spain, where they will help maintain air defense. The film also highlights the recognition of Airman Second Class Edward J. Nud as the Ninth Air Force Missileman of the Year and details several Air Force achievements, including setting new aircraft records and testing the Bomarc interceptor missile. Additionally, it covers the Reserve Troop Carrier Rodeo competition and Project Open Road, which tests new alert takeoff procedures for Strategic Air Command bombers. Successful tests at McDill and Homestead Air Force Bases demonstrate the effectiveness of these new procedures, enhancing the U.S. Air Force's rapid response capabilities. 0:00 Introduction with music and applause. 0:40: President's VC 137 Air Force One arrives at Nur Airbase for a state visit with King Muhammad.
