It's not clear which "Tri-City" is involved but probably the Albany, Troy and Schenectady area of New York. The air show includes shots of a flying boat (1:00), probably a Grumman Albatross, and a Robinson Airlines DC-3. The airline was founded in 1945 by C.S. Robinson, and was based out of Ithaca Municipal Airport, at Ithaca, New York, servicing routes in the Mohawk Valley of New York State. Renamed Mohawk Airlines in 1952, the company survived until the early 1970s, when it merged with Allegheny Airlines. At 3:00, a small plane (looks like a Piper Cub ) performs stunts. Looks like tail #NC 23428. At 5:30 a biplane does some classic barnstorming stunts. Looks like tail #NC 2822M. At 7:24 fans surround a pilot. At 8:00, the film switches to the Labor Day activities which feature wonderful performances by stunt performers including a wire walker and acrobat, a dance team, and unicycle and bicycle stunt performers (12:00) followed at 14:00 by acrobats.
