Tommy is slow to wake up in his bed; his sister enters his bedroom and pinches his nose. Tommy shows her his loose tooth. Their mother walks in and hugs the children. In the bathroom, Tommy demonstrates proper hygiene while his sister waits for her turn at the sink. Tommy washes his face with soap and a washcloth, then he washes his hands and, lastly, brushes his teeth. His sister follows the same routine. Tommy takes his clothes out of his dresser and gets dressed (04:35). The children’s father greets them as they enter the kitchen for breakfast. The mother pours the children glasses of milk. The father kisses his wife goodbye and leaves for work (06:16). At school, Tommy shows his teacher his loose tooth (06:40). The teacher shows the kids a poster of how permanent teeth come in and push out baby teeth. She then shows them pictures of a dentist, a cavity on a tooth, and healthy foods to eat. A bunny, the class pet, eats in its cage (08:44). The children crowd around the bunny’s cage, giving the animal fresh food and water. Next, the children are shown playing outside on the playground (10:22), climbing on a jungle gym and swinging. Once home from school, Tommy goes into the kitchen where his mother gives him milk and crackers (11:10). Later, Tommy sits and reads a book, then he goes out to play hide-and-seek with his sister. Tommy crouches behind some bushes in the front of the house. The father walks down the sidewalk and the kids run to greet him. Tommy finishes his post-dinner washing routine (13:10) then he pulls out his loose tooth. In Tommy’s bedroom, the father tucks in the young boy, concluding the film.
