This silent 1940s era home movie begins with footage shot in Peru, and then shows footage shot in Miami, Florida. At :36, a sign indicates "Mina Viso" -- apparently a stop along the Ferrocarril Central del Peru near Huancayo. Pack llamas are seen in a corral. At 1:02 the flag of Peru flies against the Andes Mountains. At 3:16 the film shows what might be Palomino Island in Peru, with its large colony of sea lions. At 6:10 a family is shown picnicking in a tent. Based on the presence of the cake and coffee it might be someone's birthday... Starting at 6:32 the Musa Isle Indian Village tourist attraction in Miami, Florida is shown. Itr was located on NW 25th Avenue and 16th Street, near the south bank of the Miami River just east of the current NW 27th Avenue bridge. Musa Isle "Home of the Seminoles" featured all kinds of alligator wrestling shows (7:09), Seminole dancing, weaving, jewelry, clothing (7:56) and other hand made items from the Seminole nation. Starting at 8:25 the Hialeah Park Race Track (also known as the Miami Jockey Club or Hialeah Race Track or Hialeah Park) horse racing venue is shown. The movie also includes some family shots at the end, including people sitting down in a garden and enjoying a cup of coffee together at 12:16.
