It includes shots of the Red University Building, principal and oldest 4-story building of the Kyiv University at (:21), with a banner of Lenin visible on the front. It also contains shots of various churches including St. Volodymyr’s (1:11) as well as a scenic viewing area of the Dnieper River and the famed pedestrian bridge, one of the symbols of the city of Kyiv (2:06). At (2:48), young people parade with Socialist banners. These are likely members of the youth division of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union or Komsomol. At (3:13), young sailors walk past the cameraman. At (3:37) an eternal flame burns at the obelisk, a memorial built in 1957 to commemorate WWII losses. At (4:02) a military parade. At (4:30) a view of Maidan Nezalezhosti or Independence Square. The Expocenter of Ukraine (6:37).  At (7:01) an exhibition of farm or agricultural equipment. At (7:30) swans in a lake at a city park, possibly Khreshchatyi Park.
