It is narrated by Ronald Reagan and features Hap Arnold. 00:45 Gen. Henry “Hap” Arnold notes that this film shows the US public what they are doing with all the materials produced for the Army Air Forces. 01:28 US workers enter a factory producing steel, tires, ball bearings, air plane engines, planes. 01:52 B-17 bombers in flight. US Navy destroyer at sea. A 75 mm howitzer motor carriage M8 tank rolls through a  European town. French citizens greet passing US troops. US officers greet British and Soviet officers. A US officer exchanges a friendly salute with an Asian child. 02:26 U.S. pilots and paratroopers on June 5, 1944 prepare for D-Day. C-47s fly in formation over the English Channel. Paratroopers jump. A Waco CG-4A glider makes a rough landing. Infantry scurry across open ground. 03:40 A combat airfield in January 1944. Grounded B-17s shrouded in fog. B-17 squadrons in flight. Bombs fall. 04:35 Army officers in a map room track troops and planes. 04:44 P-47 Thunderbolts fly in formation. Bombs fall from B-24s and B-17s. 05:11 Destroyed German factories. 05:21 P-38s roll for attack and attack German airfields. P-51s attack ground targets. Surrendering German soldiers are placed into POW camps. 12:29 German anti-aircraft artillery fire. US troops dig in defensive positions. 12:51 US bombers bomb various ground targets. German trucks burn. German soldiers captured. German buildings are bombed out 13:33 Factory workers build airplanes. A C-47 flies through the air. Ground crew and mechanics work on aircraft. Air crews fire on various ground targets. 14:33 Japanese Zeroes on patrol. Phosphorus bombs explode in the air. B-24s bomb various jungle targets. Bombs are loaded onto planes and dropped onto targets in China and Japan, on ships in harbors, bridges, and oil tanks. 15:49 A-20 bombers fly over ships at sea. Bombs destroy jungles and runways. A US soldier destroys a building with a hand grenade. A US flag is lowered. 16:43 USS LCS(L)(3)-53 fires rockets. Engineers and construction crews land on shore and construct new bases. 17:15 B-29 bombers drop bombs on Tokyo. 18:08 Pilots and crew in an operations room listen to mission brief. Various personnel launch weather balloons, assemble airplane parts, show the victory mission markings on an aircraft, talk on radio, prepare a hospital bed, tend to wounded, clean a gun barrel. 18:51 General Arnold sums up the accomplishments of US efforts in Europe and Asia and notes how important it is to maintain the Army Air Force. 19:58 A B-26 takes off with jet assist. Aircraft of the future: Platt-Lepage XR-1, XP-55 Ascender, P-59B Airacomet jet, Republic-Ford JB-2 cruise missile, XP-67, and Northrop’s N-1M flying wing.
