The film begins at :17 with shots of the Bridge of Sighs in Venice. At :59, children play and jump rope near St. Mark's Square. At 1:16, kids are shown on an incredible swing / amusement ride. At 1:26 a poster encouraging people to be vaccinated against Cholera is seen, to prevent an outbreak of that disease. Another poster mentions a concert in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Soviet Revolution, put on by a Communist group. At 1:43 the USS Willard Keith (DD-775) an Allen M. Sumner-class destroyer, is shown. At 2:06 are shots of St. Mark's Square and at 2:55 the Doge's Palace and its famous pigeons. At 3:38 another city is shown, probably Trieste, with busy traffic, trolley cars or trams, and buses. At 5:12 a banner announces an exhibit "England Today" at a local museum. At 5:40 a flower salesman is shown. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
