The location is likely the Grumman plant at Bethpage, New York. Interestingly, the mock-up shows the astronaut pilot in a sitting position, which was part of the original design (later dismissed in favor of standing). The mock-up also features rounded windows, as opposed to the triangular design later utilized. The spacesuit seen in the film appears to be an ILC type, possibly the XMC but more likely an SOA (short for "State of the Art") or AX1L. At 3:40, a moving tread with a mock-up of the lunar service is shown. This was apparently connected to a TV camera, and used in concert with the mock-up to simulate a landing approach. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
