The film includes a warning at the head (;24) that "...this is a secret item within the meaning of Section 88 of the Reich Criminal Code." The film goes on to trace routes from northwestern Germany to the ports along the English Channel, with distances and specific waypoints and geographical features noted. The movie starts with maps of the English Channel (:38) and a flight path from Borkum in northwest Germany to the Isle of Wight. The film points out geographical landmarks such as Poole Harbor near St. Albans and the Portland Peninsula (3:00). At (4:30), the port facilities at Portland are shown, followed by Plymouth. At 5:37 the Bristol Channel is shown with the Eddystone lighthouse identified as a control point. At 6:33, the title cards indicates "A Flight to Plymouth from the South" will be shown.
