At :40 is aerial footage shot above the German lines from a biplane, and supposedly at up to an altitude of 10,000 feet. At 4:09 a captured German plane is displayed by the French. At 5:07 illuminated starshells and charges are shown. At 5:24 a trench mortar is prepared. At 3:29 what might be gas envelops part of the front lines. At 3:48 a metal fortress or safe space is shown. At 10:00 French troops stand for inspection. At 10:31 a balloon is sent aloft. At 11:39 captive German soldiers muster en masse. At 13:50 soldiers eat rations. At 14:20 a stockade is shown filled with prisoners. At 14:51 a Curtiss type seaplane takes off. At 18:40 it is shown being retrieved from the water.
