It begins with his 2nd Birthday party, which is followed by a visit to the Zoo. The film then follows Bobby through important dates like Christmas and Easter. During Christmas (which would have been just after the Pearl Harbor attack incidentally), it shows extended footage of Bobby playing with a new Lionel train set. It ends with footage from the everyday, including Bobby during different seasons, going on trips to a lake, and playing with the family dog.
