This film is an instructional film that was designed for American high schools, to teach adolescents basic dating skills. It was produced by Coronet Instructional Films which was a leading producer and distributor of many American documentary shorts shown in public schools from 1934 - 1997. It was directed by J. William Walker with the assistance of educational collaborator, William M. Smith, Jr., Ph.D. who was Professor of Family Relationships at Pennsylvania State University.
