The film demonstrates with live footage how a pilot would successfully handle each of the situations listed above. In the film, visuals of each step of how to handle the emergency are detailed by shots that focus on what lever might need to be pulled or what position the handle needs to be in. ‘The F2H-2 Banshee: Emergency Procedures’ would have been a valuable training tool for the U.S. Navy Department to train pilots in these various situations.  The McDonnell F2H Banshee (aka Model 24) is an early, single-seat carrier-based jet fighter. It was operated by the U.S.  Navy and Marine Corps, as well as being the only jet-powered fighter to ever be deployed by the Royal Canadian Navy.
