It was animated by Barry Duncan and directed by Donald Phillips and Rex Fleming. The narrative attempts to explain the connection between Easter bunnies, eggs and candy, and the story of Jesus. Many of Christ's miracles are recounted as well as the events leading up to Jesus' arrival in Jerusalem (2:57), his actions against the money lenders in the Temple (4:13), the Last Supper (5:25), his arrest (6:43) and crucifixion, and the resurrection (8:20). At (9:10), Jesus appears to St. Peter. Family Films was founded by Sam Hersh and operated from 1948 through the 1980s. The company produced films based on stories from the Bible and the gospel of Christ. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
