The tests appear to involve the movement of a simulated instrument package (seen at 2:12) and then the removal of a plug (4:13) and replacement of the plug with a device retrieved from the package (6:38). This type of test is typical of the Apollo era, where astronauts were expected to remove experimental packages from the base of the Lunar Module or LM. Tests would commonly begin with a series like the ones shown, using test subjects in scuba gear, before progressing to subjects in spacesuits. It's not clear what package is shown here, but it might have been simulating one of the components of the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP), which were stored in the Lunar Module's Scientific Equipment (SEQ) Bay in two separate subpackages, or a task designated for Skylab crew.
