They are all similar, but with some minor differences in tag lines. Each segment is essentially identical, promoting the Yellow Pages as a quick resource for various needs. 0:09, 0:55, 1:43, 2:32, 3:20, 4:08, 4:56, 5:44, 6:32: The commercial begins by stating, "Whenever you need something in a hurry, remember this. You'll find it fast in the yellow pages of your telephone book." 0:14, 1:02, 1:50, 2:38, 3:26, 4:14, 5:02, 5:51, 6:39: It then provides examples of what can be found, such as "a car to rent, a carpet, or a carpenter." 0:22, 1:10, 1:58, 2:46, 3:34, 4:22, 5:10, 5:58, 6:46: The commercial concludes with the taglines, "whatever you need, you'll find it fast in the yellow pages." Grantray-Lawrence Animation was an American animation studio active from 1954 to 1968 and founded by Grant Simmons, Ray Patterson (hence "Grant-Ray"), and Robert L. Lawrence. It produced commercials and low-budget animated television shows until it went bankrupt in 1968 after the death of Grant Simmons. Its distributor, Krantz Films, then took over production. The best-known of those animated shows are its adaptations of superheroes from Marvel Comics, the earliest such adaptations for electronic media. Before then, it did subcontracted work on Top Cat, The Jetsons, The Dick Tracy Show, and The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed. For almost two decades, we've worked to collect, scan and preserve the world as it was captured on 35mm, 16mm and 8mm movies -- including home movies, industrial films, and other non-fiction. If you have endangered films you'd like to have scanned, or wish to donate celluloid to Periscope Film so that we can share them with the world, we'd love to hear from you. Contact us via the weblink below. This film is part of the Periscope Film LLC archive, one of the largest historic military, transportation, and aviation stock footage collections in the USA. Entirely film backed, this material is available for licensing in 24p HD, 2k and 4k.
