John D. Craig, well known writer, TV host, Hollywood stunt man, deep sea diver, and adventurer. It apparently is an extract or "dailies" from a longer film entitled "Wrestling Swordfish" which won an award of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 1932. Here, Craig is shown pulling a hooked swordfish from the water into a boat, and suffocating it in the air. John D. Craig was an American businessman, writer, soldier, diver, Hollywood stunt man, film producer, and television host. He worked in the commercial surface-supplied diving industry from the 1930s on, and filmed aerial combat over Europe during World War II. He is best known for using film and television to show the United States public the beauties and dangers of Earth's underwater worlds. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
