This film "Pursuing Suspects on Foot" was made with the cooperation of the West Covina Police Department, and -- the title pretty much sums up the point of the film. It looks at how to approach a suspect, and how to chase a fleeing suspect. That includes techniques for how to go around corners and dodge obstacles, and what to do with your weapon. In the night scenario, the film looks at how to hold your flashlight and conduct a quadrant search.
