This restricted, black &amp; white educational/training film from WWII was used to train intelligence officers about interrogation procedures. The film shows Japanese POWs being debriefed at a prison camp. This is circa 1942-1945. Opening titles: Prisoner Of War Interrogation Procedures (:08-:39). Japanese POWs are seated and one is badged in front of American soldiers. Military officials confer. A military higher up enters a POW fence surrounded camp. A Japanese POW is lead out to a table and seated. He sits with an official and an interpreter. He is asked questions and the interpreter interprets for both (:40-3:54). The POW is asked many questions as the interpreter continues to assist. POWS clap inside the fence. An interpreter sits with another man waiting for a POW to talk to them. Questions are asked as the three sit at a table (3:55-6:45). The POW sits with a man and an interpreter asking questions. POWs play cards behind their fence (6:46-9:18). An official talks with the interpreter, he is ready for another POW. A man watches the POWs behind a fence. Four POWs are lead out to speak to a man and an interpreter about their views on war. They are asked numerous questions for a long time in one static shot (9:19-17:49). A POW, official and interpreter sit together at a table. Questions are asked (Note: This entire segment is in Japanese)(17:50-19:25). U.S. Military officials sit and discuss their techniques and where they stand with the information they have accumulated. They sit at a table in front of the fenced in POW area (19:26-24:49). Title: following scenes are not a formed finished picture (24:50-25:21). Military officials (who do not appear to be American) talk and then speak to another man. An MP stands near by as other men are asked questions (Note: Most of this is not in English). A man is asked questions as three Military men stare at him. The man is lead away (25:22-29:20). End credit (29:21-29:30).
