It opens with US soldiers in green uniform (:03) smiling at Rooney and taking photographs of Rooney and his well dressed girlfriends. Ground crew members are viewed on the ground from a chopper as it takes off (:16). The camera moves over an unidentified base camp (:21). A soldier snaps photographs as young Vietnamese children stand by (:25). A long shot shows the soldiers standing in the trenches with sandbags lining the trench (1:07). Rooney, wearing a five star hat, chews on a cigar and mugs for the camera (1:31). Photographs are taken of the campsite (1:47). The CH-47A appears (2:08). Mickey's girls, in mini-skirt sixties style dresses and white high boots, dash in front (2:05). The film closes with shots of the interior of the CH-47A (2:17) and the model in orange peering out of the window. Motion picture films don't last forever; many have already been lost or destroyed.
