The surf crashes at the shore. We're in the South Pacific, in Tahiti. Water, mountains, trees (:27-1:27). A man walks by a beach. Huts. Lagoon. A woman swims in a lagoon. Two men share a coconut drink out of an actual coconut. Women kiss one another hello. Idols. Religious grounds with statues. A woman walks and looks. A woman waves as she walks with her bike. A Native couple stand by as tourists show up and take photos of them (1:28-3:23). A group of Natives talk and laugh. A jumbo jet in the sky. Grass skirt is sold to a tourist. Bamboo hut. People wade in the water. A child in the water. Group of children walk. A group of women walk down a street as cars pass. Boats in a sea port (3:24-4:44). Boats tied to the dock. Cars, boats, hotels near the water. Capital city is Papeete where the port is located. A man walks onboard a boat. Tourists walk around, scooters, cars and buses. Shops are run mainly by the Chinese. Quinn's Bar is the most known bar. Movie theatre. Women stand in front of the theatre. Two women on bikes let everyone know what's playing at the movie theatre (4:45-6:32). A woman sweeps as a woman on a bike stops by for a moment. A woman looks at a flyer. A row of scooters. People gather to watch. A new airstrip is opening. People celebrate as tourists watch. Horse races. Tourists watch as a horse race has begun, the race is bareback. Horses cross the finish line (6:33-8:15). Beautiful emerald water. A row boat. Peaceful water.
